Hen Party Accessories from HenStuff

The best thing about our T-shirt builder tool is the infinite number of possibilities it allows for. Here are some more custom T-shirt suggestions to amuse and inspire you:

L'enterrement de Vie de Jeune Fille

Ooh la la! If you're having your hen weekend in Paris (or you'd like to imagine that you are), this French T-shirt design will be perfect for you. L'enterremnet de vie de jeune fille is what French ladies call their bachelorette parties - it literally translates as 'the burial of life as a young lady', which is a) slightly morbid, and b) a bit of a mouthful. We'll stick to the phrase 'hen night', although we do think that this T-shirt would be perfect for a classy night out.

Pink Isn't My Colour

Some people will tell you that you have to wear hot pink on your hen night, but don't worry - even if you hate pink and the girly associations that come with it, you can still have a great time! This simple T-shirt design lets everyone know why you're not dressed like all the other hens: because pink simply isn't your colour. This will appeal to all the hen night goths, rockers, emos, and anyone else who wouldn't be seen dead in a hot pink oufit.

We're No Chickens!

Just because it's called a 'hen' party doesn't mean you have to act like chickens! Hen culture is notorious for the, er, brave behaviour it encourages, so if you and your girls are up for a night of daring deeds and derring-do, this proud T-shirt slogan is the ideal thing to have emblazoned across your chest. You can't chicken out at a hen do!

Caution: I'm Drunk

Well, if you're planning on having a few, it's best to warn people.

As we mentioned before, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Our Personalised Hen Night T-Shirts can be pretty much anything you want them to be, so get creative and wear something truly unique on your big night out!

One of the more recent additions to our hen party shop is the Bachelor-Play Dice Game, and while a product that's intended for bachelor parties might seem like a slightly odd choice for a hen night site, we'd implore you to give this game a chance. Just because the dare dice are tailored to male interests doesn't mean they can't work equally well for the ladies - they just need a few minor adjustments!

So let's take a closer look at the so-called 'bachelor' dice (when you run a hen party shop, it's good to know the merchandise). You've got a 'Who?' die and a 'What?' die, so you roll them both, and the person or people on the first die have to do whatever it says on the second. Pretty straightforward, right? The challenges on the 'What?' die are perfectly applicable to a hen night: do a dare, do a shot, et cetera, et cetera. Admittedly, one face orders you to 'get a girl's number', while another demands that you 'ask a girl to dance'...we suppose you can flip the genders if you like, but hey, there's nothing wrong with two girls dancing.

The 'Who?' dice is a little more complicated, but since each face names a member of the groom's party, all you have to do is substitute the female equivalent. For example, 'Best Man' means 'Maid of Honour', 'Groom' means 'Bride', 'Groomsmen' means 'Bridesmaids', and so on.

There! We've successfully adapted a stag night game for a hen party. That wasn't so difficult, was it? If you want to play the Hen-Play Dice Game, the dice are currently available from our hen party shop for just £1.99. Grab those dice today!

Stag Dice...for a Hen Night?

So you thought a stag night dice game had no place in a hen party shop? Think again! We've adapted this bachelor-play game to the bachelorette scene, so grab yours now!

So the day has finally arrived! You have packed your best outfit not to mention everything else except the kitchen sink and you are about to embark on your Hen Party Weekend. It’s probably been months in the planning and all of the Facebook banter between your hens has got you all whipped into a frenzy of excitement!

Whatever your chief bridesmaid has got planned for you, you are sure to have a fantastic time. There is something about a hen party that makes all of the girls super excitable and game for a laugh so you can be guaranteed a great time with plenty of laughs and plenty of stories to tell for months to come. You are the hen, you need to accept the fact that you will be centre of attention and embrace it. Go with the flow and have a go at any of the hen weekend activities they may throw at you. Be it cocktail making, a dance class, or even nude life drawing! There is usually an evening out on the town at some point and you need to wear those boppers and sashes with pride. Be a proud hen and make sure everyone knows it’s your hen do. It will be the one and only hen do you have and there are certain perks to screaming and shouting about it!

For many Bride to be’s the specialist treatment begins when you arrive at your hotel. Where possible many hotels will upgrade the Bride to Be’s hotel room. So you can be rest assured that although you will be hung over the majority of the weekend at least you will be hung-over in superior comfort.

Most bars and pubs will welcome hen parties with open arms. At the end of the day, they want your money and a hen party is likely to be spending a fair amount on booze. Many bars will entice your party in with the offer of free shots or even a bottle of champagne! Take full advantage of these offers even if you only stay for the freebies and then move on!

If you are partying in a large group it is well worth ringing ahead to several night clubs and explaining you are on a hen party and wish to frequent their establishment. At the very least they should put you on the guest list for free queue jump and potentially free entry and they might even throw in a private booth in a VIP area and a free drink too!

I think all bouncers expect hen parties to be a little bit more lairy and louder than usual and they are likely to cut you a little bit of slack for this. You can usually get away with playing silly games and performing silly dares within reason once you explain you are a hen party. Just sweet talk the bouncer, flutter those eyelashes and maybe even pose for a photograph or two with him, he will love the attention!

As the Bride to Be, you will be centre of attention. You will be forced to do things you might not be overly keen to take part in. But you should embrace it and go with the flow as the Hen no one will want to upset you so you can rest assured that you are probably going to win any competition or dare you enter into!

Being pampered while on a short vacation weekend sounds to die for.  A hotel, beach resort or countryside manor house, the world is your oyster.

Karaoke. Order some drinks and get ready to have some fun! Hitting up the karaoke bar with the girls is always a good time and lots of laughter will certainly be on the menu. Make the most of the night with a fantastic dinner out and a bottle of wine or some fun cocktails. Most karaoke bars also have private rooms with a bottle service, if you want to kick it up a notch. To add in a bit of a twist to the evening, get everyone to choose 5 songs, write them down and place in a hat. The rule is simple: what you pull out of the hat you have to sing.

Burlesque Lessons. Props, performance skills and sexy dance moves, do you dare to bring out their inner wild side and sign up the girls up for some saucy burlesque lessons? Burlesque dance lessons are frivolous and fun but classy too. For a real fun touch, bring along a few costume props of your own.

Five Fabulous Hen Party Ideas For The Bride-To-Be

This is a guest blog from our friends at wedzilla. The blog is about some fabulous hen party ideas.

Yep, we're still jealous of the people at Glastonbury, so let's continue to assuage our festival envy with another festival-themed hen night idea! Fancy dress is a huge part of many hen nights, but some girls might find that the usual hen costumes - French maids, bunny rabbits, et cetera - are a little too bawdy for their tastes. We're not sure when rabbits became ubiquitous sex symbols (we're guessing it's mostly Hugh Hefner's fault, the bunny-fancying old weirdo), but the point is that there are plenty of other fancy dress themes to choose from.

Seeing as festival season is now upon us, why not try festival-themed costumes at your hen party? A fabulous festival costume requires nothing more than some torn-up jeans, a tie-dye T-shirt, and a pair of wellies - surely anyone could manage that? Of course, if you still want to look a little bit glamorous,  we've got a variety of hippie costumes that will make you look a) gorgeous, and b) like you've come straight from the Pyramid Stage circa 1971.

So get over your didn't-go-to-Glastonbury blues, we'll do our best to get over ours, and we'll all have a fantastic festival-themed party. You and the girls will stand out a mile when you stride into town wearing your best festival garb!

By the by, we've done a bit of digging and discovered that Hugh Hefner actually has a species of rabbit named after him: Sylvilagus palustris hefneri. So there's your chunk of useless information for the day.

Festival Fancy Dress

Excited for festival season? A festival-themed fancy dress party is perfect for girls who aren't keen on those so-called 'sexy' costumes that most hens wear.

We recently got excited to hear that henstuff.co.uk had released a hen party t shirt builder.  We have seen so many companies on the internet who offer hen party t shirts but this is the first time we have seen a t shirt builder which is so easy and friendly to use!  So for today, we are putting aside wedding confetti and talking about the hen party t shirt builder from Henstuff!

First thing is first, you have 2 options.  You can create a t shirt from scratch or go for one of henstuff’s templates and customise from there.  We looked at the predesigned templates to see if there are any good and we loved them.

Predesigned

In the predesigned section there are 8 different predesigned slogans for the front (including the ability to just write your own text) where you can add your own text.  E.g.  “Top Girls” followed by “(Name) Hen Night”.   The same then goes for the back as you can either go for classics such as name and number, 1 or 2 lines of text or even the ability to upload you own image!  You can even choose the font and colour too.  As for the t shirts, there are 4 different types of tops available : v neck, crew neck, vest top or a strappy top.  Then on top of this, you have 9 colour options for the t shirt.  It really is fully customisable and we haven’t seen a system like this on the internet which is so friendly!  No complications, just simple get on with it interface!

Design your own

If you don’t opt for the predesigned templates, you can really go to town and design your whole t shirt from scratch.  As above, you have up to 9 colours for t shirts and 4 different types of tops but then this is where it changes.  For the front, you now have multiple options for text in different areas and then also you can upload an image for the front as well as the back!  Maybe you could go for 2 different types of pictures for the t shirts if you opt to have a picture for the front and back.

To access the t shirt builder, go to https://www.henstuff.co.uk/party-tshirts.  Have fun designing the t shirts but remember to proof read all of the information!  Once the order has been submitted, you have agreed to henstuff that the information you have provided is 100% correct.

Have fun and let your creative juices flow!
